Think of rough as rough can get and your not even half way there. I did not expect very much as I approached but on entering I was so shocked to find a pub in such a terrible state. Ale that you would be brave to swallow or very desperate.
I had booked this hotel, and it looked great, but on arrival we found that it didn't have an en suite bathroom, which put my wife off completely. The bedroom was spacious with a four poster bed which looked lovely, but the lack of a personal bathroom within the room just put my wife off staying there. I have to say the manageress was very gracious when we had to cancel our reservation.

Old fashion pub. Friendly enough. Small interior. Bit of a locals pub.
