In the coach houses.. Just been finished to a very high standard.. Spa being moved and the pool and bar being refurbished.. Snow on the ground for twenty minutes. No problem getting here on snow Friday.. Huge beds/bedrooms very large downstairs.. Marvellous setting wet or dry..
We booked Clowance through Hoseasons in May 2018 for 1st April 2019. In January 2019 we were informed that during our April holiday, the pool, restaurant and bar would be closed for refurbishment, making the holiday solely self catering with no facilities on site and vouchers offered for a local swimming pool! We tried to swap but the only availability was a lodge for over 1,000. Apparently small print allows these changes and therefore we lost our deposit of 150 even though there was prior knowledge of the planned works and no duty of care towards customers.
Resort in dire need of repair. Cracked paving slabs, sauna door with large hole in it. Shower near sauna not working. Jacuzzi next to swimming pool filled in with fake plants. Numerous potholes throughout the estate. Fly infestation outside apartment. All in all not impressed at all. Each time we visited we were told that there was a major improvement to be rolled out and that maintenance was high on the agenda. Only thing high on the agenda of Seasons is the maintenance costs 6% rise year on year. Not to mention a rude member of the sales staff. Thank goodness we did not have to listen to his pitch this year, after being insulted by him last time.
This is an old Cornish estate which is now adapted to accommodate self catering holidays. Originally a RCI time share resort it did contain lodges constructed within the natural woodland some are private properties. A further development was constructed overlooking a section of the 9 hole golf course. The site offers walks within the grounds through mature woodland around a natural lake. The resort contains amongst many things, a games area, restaurant, gym, spa, heated indoor pool. Outside there are tennis courts, croquet court and large chess board. The original outhouses, is orangery, stables have also been adapted but still retain the feeling of the past.
Long established vacation spot with mixture of timeshare, part owned and owned lodges and houses, set within the grounds of an historic estate. The original manor house contains the restaurant, gym, spa and pool. Whilst the restaurant is open to non residents the other facilities are for members residents only, their guests have to be signed in. Beautiful estate with tennis courts, croquet pitch and chess board, boating lake, golf course and long walks through the woods around the grounds. Extensive views from the restaurant over a large lawn through to the boating lake and hills beyond. Many of the outbuildings have been converted to holiday accommodation.
