THE SCHOOL PUT YOU IN CSR FOR SOMETHING BUT THEN IF THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO YOU THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!

This school fines you per parent if you take your children out during school time, even if they have excellent attendance and are in the top levels of class. Sadly no common sense here. They expect your child to stay over an 1 hour after school hours for extra lessons, which they sadly can't fit in normal hours on top of the vast home work.
Children at this school now get 1 hour and 15 minutes detention after school for forgetting a pencil....
I've been out of this very school for 10 years this year. And since then I never heard anything of it appart from few odd changes. Although since the children have gone back this year, I've heard alot of horror stories. Children now near enough make no difference but act like robots. Causing them to be unhappy and be unfairly disciplined for certain things like rolling up sleeves, not standing in line properly ect. All small acts. A fair telling off was ok but this year has been different. My partner's little sister came home white at the end of last year ( July ) and she was dehydrated, claiming she wasn't allowed to fill up her water bottle at the fountain. Her freind also claimed the same thing. I hate to hear that as it was baking hot and they were not allowed to top up there water bottle to keep hydrated. This first month back my little cousins have been excluded unfairly (in my opinion). There not even on any level naughty children. All for small tiny little things. There main punishment is something called "CSR" which is a room full of cubicles, when I was there it was for kids being really naughty, really nasty words, bullying, fighting, skipping class ect .. but now they will put you there for unbuttoning the top of your shirt or rolling your sleeves up. It's too harsh and hard for the children. Children can academically do even better if they are happy. Same as parents. As far as I'm aware, children and parents are not happy. Which doesn't make school fun or knowledgeable .. the adult world is far easier than school these days and it should not be that way round. For these very reasons none of my children will be going to this school. Unless it changes and relaxes in the next 7 years.
