I stayed on this site over Christmas and the New Year it was absolutely peaceful and wonderful very very clean toilet very nice people and very well mannered and very dog friendly as well and the owners were very helpful as well
Stayed on this site for one night, New Years Eve, in our van and some friends in theirs. Everything is an extra. Electric is done with a card and minimum you can buy is 5, showers are 50p for 7 minutes. 50p! I disagree with having to pay for shower when Ive paid for the pitch but I think thats too much, 20p at most. The machine for your money is outside the shower so you have no clue how long you have left either becuase it doesnt beep or countdown. Then theres hair dryer which didnt work but that was 20p as well! Theres no heating in the toilet block itself so its freezing. And hooks? Not a bloody one! Seriously, what am I meant to do with my clothes, towel, washbag? Not even a seat or shelf no nothing! Not thought through at all.. and the pitch was booked as hard standing but it had grass all over it which just hasnt been cut for ages. Not a site I would head back to Im afraid
The site is in a very quiet location, with beautiful views of the Cornish country side. Pitches are a good size with electric hook up and running water. Toilet block and wash up are both very clean and well appointed. We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who have been very helpful. Our two children very much enjoyed the space on the site to ride bikes and play with other children. Would highly recommend. Thank you.
Facilities are ok, basic of basic, electric is a card meter however there maybe some credit left from previous guest, DO NOT purchase too much electricity, even though the electricity cards are unique to the site they will not take cards back. There is absolutely nothing for the children. The shower facilities are new and clean however if the site was packed there is only 4. This is also 50p for a shower. There is no space for clothes at all when showering. Washing up facilities only have 2 with only warm water. Do not be told otherwise. You have to be off site at 10 sharp I was late by 2 hours. The site was pretty empty and on leaving I did not feel comfortable. I won't use again unfortunately but I'm sure these things will suit people. Customer service on the site is pretty poor. Like I said this is my experience judge for your selves. I wish them all the best and I hope my feedback helps others.
Stayed 10 days on this site and found it a bit secluded, glad we had the car. Very far away from the beaches and bigger towns, tent was very exposed to the wind. 6 toilets and 4 showers available plus one disabled shower and toilet. Showers behind toilet to be entered through a small hole in wall, I am size 12 and just fit through. Bigger people would have to shower in the disabled shower. Even though fairly clean, the floor gets dirty when you step out of shower bring mat or something. Bring hand towels as well, there are non. Washing up room and instant kettle available for no extra charge. One washing machine and one tumble dryer available for about 4-5 Pound. We were charged for more than quoted on site because owners forgot to charge for child and awning even though mentioned on the phone. So bring an extra 50 Pound just in case.Would recommend only for people who do not mind it not being close to the beach and preferably without kids, there is nothing for them. It is a very quiet site with lots of dogs. There is a small walk/pooing area for the dogs.
