Excellent Wetherspoons! With my 50p per pint CAMRA vouchers, 2 pints of lovely local pale ale bitter cost me 2.98!!!! How's that for value, ha ha! Very pleasant atmosphere, good service.

10 of us stayed one night & we all had high reviews on our stay. Check in was quick, smooth & friendly for our 5 rooms. All rooms were spacious, comfortable, good facilities etc. Good price. Breakfast menu selection good payable separately. Bar prices very good. No car park but only mins walk from a 24hr car park which is free after 4pm until 8am and free all day Sundays. Hotel on high Street so you can walk straight out and around the shops. We're all returning for our next trip. Would recommend.
Friday night. Still got drinks in good time and some food in good time. Lively but not rowdy atmosphere was good.Room to move not stuffed in. Only quarrel would be 3 types of drink asked for not in stock, but it is Christmas season so not surprised at all.
